ELA ADA RECIPE#KERALA EVENING SNACK RECIPE

Ela Ada is a popular Kerala snack which can be prepared easily at home.Its best as an evening snack with hot tea on a rainy day. Ingredients  Rice Flour : 1cup (roasted) Boiled Hot Water as required Salt to taste Cardamon powder : 1/4 tsp Banana leafs : 4 pieces For Filling Grated Coconut : 1 cup Grated Jaggery : 1/2 cup Salt a pinch Preparation 1.Mix coconut,jaggery,cardamom powder with your hands  until well combined and soft. 2. Make a dough like chapathi dough, by adding hot water and salt. 3.Spread half tsp of oil all over the leaf with the fingers. 4. Place lemon size dough in the center of the leaf, flatten it with finger and spread the filling on it. 5. Fold the leaf in half and seal the ends of the leaf  or leave as such by folding. 6. Nadan Beef Curry Beef curry recipes are available in all sites and blogs.But this is a recipe which i tried and got a good result with nice thick gravy and real nadan taste.I tried so many beef gravy recipes,But this is the one which impress my hubby who loves Beef varieties.The colour of this gravy is the colour of Kashmiri chilli powder which i used and it is not too spicy.The recipe is so easy and can be prepared within 30- 40 minutes.OK.Lets talk about the ingredients and method of preparation.
